Assumption has done it again!

As a school community, students were able to raise over 30,000 canned goods in this year’s Can Drive. Students, teachers, administration, and community volunteers teamed up to support the St. Vincent de Paul Society in order to provide food to members of the local community. Each night ACS students braved the cold in order to collect cans in most neighbourhoods of the city. The ACS Can Drive is a fantastic tradition that has been going on for over fifty years. This year’s Can Drive culminated with our annual Can Fest. Can Fest is the final evening of the can drive where students hit the streets for one last major collection and then return to ACS to enjoy a night of hot chocolate, chili, and celebrations. As always, ACS students and staff alike are very proud of their efforts this year and the spirit of giving is alive in the hallways at ACS!
