ACS Students Dominate National Chemistry Olympiad

More great chemistry news!   Recently a few of our grade 12 chemistry students participated in the National Chemistry Olympiad.  This grueling national exam is designed to probe the chemistry knowledge of the best and brightest senior chemistry students across Canada.  Assumption students dominated our district – consisting of over one hundred high school from southwestern Ontario.  Congratulations to Alessio Symons who received bronze, Zack Young  who took silver and Bethany Viray who came out on top with the gold medal.  All three have also received the Chemical Institute of Canada special merit award.  This is an amazing accomplishment for our seniors.  Congratulations!
